Welcome to EDF Energy's Stage 3 consultation on proposals for a new nuclear power station, Sizewell C, along with the associated development required to enable construction and operation. Your views are important to the development of our proposals. Feedback from our previous two consultations, ongoing engagement with stakeholders, and substantial technical assessments and environmental studies has helped shape the proposals presented at this stage 3 consultation. We have also learnt from our Hinkley Point C project, already under construction and on track to generate electricity from 2025.
In constructing a new power station at Sizewell, our aim is to support the creation of significant business, training and job opportunities, while limiting or mitigating any adverse effects for local people and the environment. This is reflected in the current proposals, where we are presenting refinements in some areas, along with a number of new options elsewhere. We welcome your involvement in consultation and invite you to provide your feedback.
This questionnaire has been designed to be answered having read the information in our Stage 3 Consultation Summary Document, which is available on our project website.
This questionnaire encourages feedback on our proposals, including specific options. You are welcome to answer as many or as few of the questions as you like. Alternatively, if you would prefer to provide an overall comment, please just answer Question 1.
